Her last suggestion “Use Google Lens” is one my partner and I use all of the time. Our Samsung phones have it built in, but otherwise: open a new Google browser window, at the right of the search bar is a colourful square with a dot in the middle click it, your camera will pop up, hit the magnifiying glass, crop the image as needed and voila there’s your search of similar to that item. I did it recently when I picked up a crystal vase and the search result was Waterford. I turned it upside down and sure enough it was signed. $5 for a Waterford vase is indeed a good price.
