Traffic Controls / Downtown Congestion
Getting into, out off, or through downtown of late has become near impossible at rush hour. One day I told myself lets not do this again. Then a few days later there I was again. Sigh! Police will ensure the respect of parking rules! Only new if I wasn’t the one parked there. Admittedly the no stopping/no parking on certain streets at rush hour makes a huge difference. I do hope this helps!
What do you do if you must be downtown? Have you found some streets to be better than others?
D-Day 75th Anniversary
“They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old, Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn, At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We shall remember them”
CBC coverage of the 75th anniversary of D-Day continues.

Happy Victoria Day!
We here in Ottawa have much to be thankfull to Queen Victoria. in 1857 she chose Ottawa to be the capital of Canada. She chose Ottawa because is was in between Montreal and Toronto and on the border of Ontario and Quebec. And because of this decision we are the city we are. So thank you Queen Victoria and happy birthday!
