LGBTQ2 National Monument

The NCC has approved the site of the future LGBTQ2 Monument. It will be built on Wellington Street at Portage Bridge. The momument meant to commemorate the discrimination against LTBTQ2 Canadians. The moment will be paid by the LGBT Purge Fund. I like its proximity to the Canadian War Museum which houses the Fruit Machine – a contraption that was used to identify LGBTQ2 individuals in the 60s in the Federal Government.
