Unusual times bring on unusual celebrations. And so, this year, the Canada Day celebrations will be virtual, and the fireworks will be a montage of fireworks from past years. Click here for details.

June is officially Pride Month. But as stated in the post by CREA Café, there won’t be any parades this month.

They go on to say Pride is more than parades: “It’s a celebration of strength and community,”

This fits well with the Canadian Real Estate Association’s (CREA) REALTOR® Code, which states a REALTOR® won’t deny professional services or be party to any plan to “discriminate against any person for reasons of race, national or ethnic origin, religion, colour, sex, family status, age, gender identity, or sexual orientation, marital status or disability.”

Perhaps considering the events going on around the world, precipitated by an event in the US, it`s a good time to remind ourselves that diversity is what gives our society character and strength.

Happy Easter Everyone!

Well not a brilliantly Happy one is it! Safe to say the oddest one in our history; away from our family our friends we celebrate together apart.

Be sure to watch Andrea Bocelli live from the Duomo Cathedral in Milan this afternoon at 1pm. Have your tissues handy! His words on today’s prayer (as he is calling it).

Upon winning for actor in a leading role for Joker Joaquin Phoenix delivered an emotional speech last night at the Academy Awards. His speech was about domination, entitlement, and injustices.
