Ottawa Artist – William Staubi
On Thursday I went to the opening of Studio Sixty Six’s current exhibition Unholy Objects to see William (Bill) Staubi‘s pieces.
I quite loved them. I found the pieces to be fun, imaginative, and quite thought provoking. Another said “Playful, daring, creative, and layered!” The exhibition is on until December 31, 2016 – go see it.
Good luck Bill!

Ottawa Artist – René Rivard
I`ve been wanting to spend more time on the art portion of my website – alas I only have 24 hours in each day. So for now I will be presenting specific pieces by artist friends of mine. Today is Paysage Hollandais (24″ x 20″) by René Rivard. I very much like the effect of the sun! I`m told some of the details were quite challenging due to their littleness!
Rock Around – Dad and his 6 children paint 1000 Rocks in Michigan
What a great project. A father and his 6 children paint 1000 rocks and spread 500 in the community. It’s a bonding experience. Its lowtech. It’s art. It’s a reason to visit the museum where 500 are displayed. Its a reason for this family and the community to explore their city.
