Starchitect – João Luis Carrilho da Graça
João Luis Carrilho da Graça is a Portuguese architect. He was born in Portalegre, Portugal in 1952. He studied at the Lisbon School of Fine Arts. He founded Carrilho de Graça Arquitectos. Graça is the recipient of several prizes including Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in France, the Prémio Pessoa, the Luzboa Award, the Order of Merit by the Portuguese Republic among several others.
