Bruce Kuwabara is a Canadian architect, born in 1949 in Hamilton, Ontario. He studied architecture at the University of Toronto. In 1987 he founded his own firm KPMB. In 2011 he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada for his contributions to architecture. Throughout his career, and before it became fashionable, he has been concerned with sustainability in architecture. His designs strike me as superimposed rectangular shapes that create architectural sculptures.
