Ontario condos 35% smaller on average than they were 25 years ago
The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC), the corporation that administers property assessments in Ontario states that condos, on average, are 35% smaller than they were in the mid-90’s. What was 1,100 square feet is now 700 square feet. The contract is even higher is Hamilton with a difference of 40%, and Markham with a difference of 45%.
