The city of Ottawa is exploring options with regards the little free libraries. Earlier this month Wendy Chaytor a resident of Stittsville received an official complaint from the city telling her she had to relocate her library 4.3 meters back from the road. Of course the libraries should not be in the way, and create an obstruction but 4.3 meters back in my mind is quite the distance would be less inviting. Hopefully, the city will come up with an acceptable to everyone solution.
Doing research I find there’s an app for that: Little Free Library! An app to help you find the closest little free library. I just tried it out! I see it missing one I know of, but it points to others in the area.
