The IPCC – Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has released a report with a rather dire prediction, for as early as 2030, if the world does not make changes on its levels of greenhouse gas emissions. The report states that pledges made in the Paris agreement are insufficient. Drastic steps are now required, but alas, not expected.
