Community groups say sale of downtown YMCA-YWCA could mean losing valuable services
Earlier this week it was announced that the Argyle Street YMCA building would be sold. Bob Gallagher, president and CEO of the YMCA-YWCA of the National Capital Region stated the building had come to the end of its life cycle. It would otherwise need 38 million dollars of renovations to remain viable. The community now speaks up on what the loss of this facility means to those in need.
