Where is Central, East, West, South?
The boundaries of what we consider central is forever moving. I need your opinion:
I’m hoping you all don’t live in the same area! But I need to hear YOUR perspective on where the boundaries of East, West and South are. My assumptions: Kanata is west. Barrhaven is south. Orleans is East. BUT… what’s Hunt Club? What about Manor Park? Is Whitehaven central or west? What neighbourhood do you live in and do you consider yourself central, east, west, or central?
Developer seeks approval to build Ottawa’s tallest tower
This just in! Next week the city will be asked to approve a proposal for a 55 storey building in the Dows Lake area. It’s actually a trio of buildings the other 2 are 45 stories and 18. If it is approved the Icon (at 45 stories) would be beat before being built. My next question is where are these people coming from. Read more here.
