Cozy Studio – Under 300 square feet
Considering some of the new condos I’ve visited in the last couple of days I think this post quite timely. This guy lives in an apartment less than 300 square feet, it has multiple areas, and he and his dog look pretty comfortable. Now I’ll try to rethink that one I saw on Sunday and imagine how all of this could be transposed. Maybe! Just maybe it can be done.
Hanukkah
The lighting of the menorah has started. Here Houzz.com presents a nice selection of decorating ideas! Happy Hanukkah to you!
Outdoor Christmas Decorations
A selection of outdoor holiday decorations presented by Elle Decor. I love the wreaths in the windows (grey shutters). No blow-up Santa in this selection – clearly it’s their more mature suggestions. Enjoy! Has anyone seen Taffy Lane this year? I don’t think subtle or in good taste is part of the equation on that street. Next week we’ll start to feature other holiday traditions.
Arts & Crafts
Encouraging the budding artist is of course a great thing but the disaster in your home may not be. So here a few ideas to help you cope with your arts & craft crowd.
Wooden Childen’s Toys
In this digital era I found myself startled by this post from Houzz.com featuring wooden toys.
Almost scratching my head going “Oh..” A good thing though. I think my mind had gone so electronic that I didn’t remember these – or realize that they could be an option. Well glad to realize they are! Keeping children away or pulling them away from a screen seems like a great idea to me. I remember my daughter having a wooden jacobs ladder as a kid. She loved it. Ok ok so did I. Intriguing little thing.
