Controversial!  Interesting!  Perplexing.  Pick one. This will obviously have the city, the heritage conservationists, and the developers at odds.  I have to say something should be done!  Much new development on Rideau street but when a client recently considered a move there her family was not amused.  So yes, continue the development but as the article says “clear up some ambiguities“.

Partly right, partly wrong, but certainly amusing this quiz reveals what your favourite colour says about you. I love the black walls – always wanted a black dining room. But lately I threated painting everything white as I find with art that can be very interesting.  However, the description for purple is me!  Molly likes blue or red.  She says if you combine the descriptions that works but combining the colours would give you purple and she said no to that.

Renovations! They can be for you or they can be for your house or apartment! Most of the points in this article are valid!  As a realtor when I hear someone renovating my questions are:  Will you be staying in your house for long? Will these renovations outlive you? Will they add value to your house or not? Can you afford to redo them?  Do you care?  You can love blue cabinets in the kitchen, and if you plan on staying there for a long time great, but otherwise blue cabinets may not have broad appeal.  Distressed cabinet doors might be distressing to some… Black stained hardwood floors are not for everyone.  Combining 3 rooms into 2 may be great but… Replacing all baths with showers may leave some lukewarm.  Certainly Molly & I can guide you should you have questions!
