10 Things to in the in First 10 Minutes of your Day
Here is a list of 10 things to do the first 10 minutes of each day. Don’t hit the snooze – already I’m in trouble with this list. Write something down – ok that sounds good. Focus on today that sounds like a good play whats the saying yesterday is a memory tomorrow is a dream so ok I like that one. And 7 other ideas. OK I’ll give them a try. I’m writing now does that count!
Ottawa LRT Names
Seems there’s controversy surrounding the names chosen for the LRT cars. What to do you think? Amused? Enchanted?
Top Kitchen Paint Colours for 2018
Looks like we are stepping away from the mandatory white, off-white, cream, or off-cream kitchen. Seems green particularly sage, teal, and mint are the new white.
As usual, my word of caution with trendy colours IS if you’re redoing the kitchen for yourself go ahead and go fire engine red BUT if you’re looking to enhance the value of your home don’t go with a colour that in a couple of years people will say “That’s so 2018”.

Thinking of buying, or selling, now, or in the near future and would like a sense of the value of an area or condo!
We can set up an auto-search for you which will apprise you of new listings or sales and help prepare you for when you are ready.
What is my house or condo worth?
What’s the value of the area we want to move to?
These and other questions the Molly & Claude Team can help you with.

Elgin Street Overhaul
Over a year ago we read that there was a plan to redo Elgin Street. Well more recent news has the street partly shutting down next month and then completely in 2019. Two years of construction! What does two years of construction translate to in Ottawa construction time.
I wonder what the perspective is of what downtown should look like according to different generations. Partly I understand the widening of the sidewalks. Partly I miss the wider streets. Must say going down Main street by car is pleasant. Though there is the slip to the right, oh no left, oh no right again.
We’ll soon have O’Connor Street back at which point we’ll surrender Elgin to its destiny.
