And, if you’re not happy with Ottawa, but you don’t have to travel too far to get to an alternate “best city” you go easitly get to number number 21 – The Nation or to number 3 – Russell Township. Big and small made the list! To raise a family you should be in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, however, Ottawa, Russell, and The Nation did make it in 8th, 9th, and 10th places. Once all of that is said and done best place to retire as Scott previously pointed out is Ottawa, (or nearby Carleton Place which ranked 5th).
