Ban on 1500 types of “military-grade” guns

Prime Minister Trudeau has announced a ban on 1500 types of “military-grade” guns. This seems to me like a good decision. I suppose it could have been done within parliament and of course Sheer is upset stating it was inappropriate to render this decision during a pandemic, but, well, the recent shootings happened during a pandemanic. Who, other than the military needs a military-grade gun. With all due respect to my friends in the US whatever laws are created that differentiate us from the US seems like a good idea to me.
