Architects – Wilkinson Eyre
Today I start the exploration of architectural firms responsible for the tallest buildings in the world. I do love tall buildings! I admit that I would not necessarily like to live in their shadow but otherwise, I like them. This idea came from a post by Arch Daily of the 25 tallest buildings.
Wilkinson Eyre’s contribution to this list is the Guangzhou International Finance Center.
Wilkinson Eyre is an international architecture firm based in London, England. Founded by Chris Wilkinson in 1983, it got its name in 1999 subsequent to officializing his partnership with Jim Eyre which had begun in 1987. The firm has many high-profile projects to its credit. Wilkinson has been the recipient of many awards and recognitions. Jim Eyre is also a British architect. He too has been the recipient of many awards. He has many publications to his name and is the guest lecturer and panelist at the Illinois Institute of Technology and Harvard Univesity Graduate School of Design.
