Architect – Marcio Kogan
Marcio Kogan is a Brazilian architect born in São Paulo in 1952. He is best known for private homes and retail design. Kogan studied at Mackenzie Presbyterian University School of Architecture and Urbanism. In 2001 his practice was renamed Studio MK27. Studio MK27 was selected to represent Brazil at the Venice Biennale of Architecture in 2012. Kogan’s designs are known for detail, simplicity, and easy transition between inside and outside. The buildings have volumes and make use of raw materials. He is inspired by Brazilian modern architecture.
