Architect – Laurence (Larry) Booth
Larry Booth is an American architect. Born in 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, he is a member of the Chicago Seven. Booth has a Bachelor of Architecture from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is a graduate of the Design School of Harvard University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University.
In 1980 he founded Booth Hansen. He approaches every project with an appreciation that each individual and each project is unique. Over the course of his 50-year career he has been the recipient of many awards. He is a professor at the Northwestern University in Illinois as well as a visiting professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, the University of California, and the University of Illinois.
The other members of the Chicago Seven we have visited with so far are Stanley Tigerman and David Chipperfield.
