Architect – Jean Nouvel
Jean Nouvel is a French architect born in 1945 in Fumel. Over the course of his carreer he was the recipient of many prizes including the Aga Khan Award for Architecture, the Wolf Prize in Arts, and the Pritzker Prize. His parents wanted him to study mathematics and language, he wanted to study art, architecture was the compromise. In 1994 he formed his current company Ateliers Jean Nouvel in parnership with Michel Pélissié. Their office consists of 140 employees in France with offices in Rome, Geneva, Madrid, and Barcelona.
