Architect – I.M. Pei – 1917/2019
Today I deviate from my list of laureates of the Pritzker prize in a sense, but not really. In honour of I.M. Pei who died last week at the age of 102, I bring you his work for a second time. Pei was the laureate of said prize in 1983. To the infamous question of who would you like to spend an evening with – I would answer I.M. Pei – of the talent we have no doubt but something in his smile tells me he didn’t take himself too seriously. Or perhaps its the kinship of the round glasses
