Architect – Bjarke Ingels
“The world’s hottest architect” by Rolling Stone. Bjarke Ingels is indeed a starchitect, his celebrity status and critical acclaim seems to know no bounds.
Having been introducted to Bjarke Ingels last week I felt a need to explore further. I’m quite taken with his style. The audacity! There’s fun in his work! Ingels was born in Copenhapgen, Denmark in 1974. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture. He is the Founder and creative partner of the Bjarke Ingels Group, BIG, founded in 2005. At the incredible age of 43 he already possesses an impresive portfolio of astonishing buildings around the world.
