Colour of Courage
Sometimes through the darkness can come light. Light which can influence the creative process and render in three dimensions the emotions within.
“Yes. I thought of all my LGBTQ friends. I was put in front of a big tub of tiles. I picked colors to represent all the special people I know who are LGBTQ and the ones I don’t. I thought of how I understand oppression of my gay brother I lost. Of color that makes me happy and keeps me going and I made a tile representing all this. Took me 2 weeks. The black tiles represent the darkness where I had no hope and the red blood and pain I suffered but together we are all United. I love people. Amy Beth Allan”
