When yesterday I first read that Tesla/Solar City was introducing a new type of integrated solar panel it seemed important but sometimes it’s hard to distinguish the new big thing vs the latest gimmick. Solar energy is great! But making use of it is another thing. The possibilities have been there but not attractive, complicated or expensive. As more and more options such as these come onto the market competition will rise, prices will drop, and availability will increase.
