Yesterday the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) released a national housing market assessment. Though the optic may not be rosy for every city in Canada the forecast for Ottawa is stable. As you can read in the article there was indeed an over abundant supply of condos in the market but that is being absorbed. On the residential homes side of things sale numbers are up and prices have stabilized.
