TD Centre Toronto / Doors Open Ottawa
An amusing look at the inside of the Toronto-Dominion Centre in Toronto part of the Doors Open in Toronto. The tower and the interiors were designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The pics show a time capsule representative of van der Rohe’s style.
Doors Open Ottawa is still on today. Go explore and be let into spaces that are normally not accessible. In the past I particularly enjoyed the Canada Council Art Bank, the Diefenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum, Earsncliffe , Fleck Paterson House, Laurier House, Delegation of the Ismaili Imamat, Lemieux Island Water Purification Plant, this year they have the Britannia Water Purification Plant.
