I walked by The Slayte yesterday. It’s interesting to see the conversion of an office building to apartments. I suspect post COVID with so many workers now working from home we may see more of this in the downtown core. It’s just too bad it had to be luxury rentals. It seems to me that between community housing and luxury housing there’s a world. I suppose for developers it’s not a lucrative world to develop but there is a need and it’s too bad it isn’t explored. Click here for the Slate promotion in the Citizen.
