Ontario raises maximum allowable rent increase as rent freezes end

Subsequent to a rent increase freeze at the start of COVID, the province of Ontario has set the maximum rent increase to 1.2 per cent for 2022. Prior to the freeze rent increases could go up to 2.2 per cent. Details here.
