June is officially Pride Month. But as stated in the post by CREA Café, there won’t be any parades this month.
They go on to say Pride is more than parades: “It’s a celebration of strength and community,”
This fits well with the Canadian Real Estate Association’s (CREA) REALTOR® Code, which states a REALTOR® won’t deny professional services or be party to any plan to “discriminate against any person for reasons of race, national or ethnic origin, religion, colour, sex, family status, age, gender identity, or sexual orientation, marital status or disability.”
Perhaps considering the events going on around the world, precipitated by an event in the US, it`s a good time to remind ourselves that diversity is what gives our society character and strength.
