Beyond the question when will normal return, is the question what will the new normal look like? What will normal look like post COVID-19? How long will we need to maintain physical distancing? How long will we live in fear? Well, perhaps one answer is these supermarkets on wheels. To start, one by Grocery Neighbour and one by Sysco. Three trucks are set to hit Toronto this summer. I so dislike going to the grocery store in the best of times, this sounds to me like a fun alternative. Like when the ice cream truck comes to the neighbourhood.
