The government has announded that it will launch a revised Insured Mortgage Purchase Program (IMPP) through the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) to assist consumers with the challenges posed by the COVID-10 Virus. The big six banks meanwhile will allow 6-month mortgage payment deferral.
