Architects – RCR Arquitectes
Continuing our exploration of Pritzer Prize Laureates today we feature RCR Arquitectes. RCR is a Catalan firm comprised of Rafael Aranda, Carme Pigem, and Ramon Vilalta. They were the recipients of the Pritzer Prize in 2017. Their work is both public and private and sensitive to its surroundings. They tend to favour the use of recycled steel, glass, plastic even, the main criteria in the selection of building material is that it be expresive.
