Odd day in the Byward Market area today! A bear was spotted in middle of the night. After creating a bit of a comotition, with people being told “You’ll need a police escort before leaving your flat.” the bear was tranquilized, captured and taken to an area outside the city.
What do to if you encounter a bear on your path. Now remember different types of bear require different reactions. I’m not sure how I’d feel about trying to play dead in front of a grizzly. Sigh!
Ha! And here I have showing appointments this afternoon in the Market. It’ll be hard to tell my clients “It’s a nice neighbourhood – quite safe!”
